The national literary magazine, The Griffin, has accepted my short story, “The Prophets,” an account of the express hopes and challenges of an aluminum can. “The Prophets” will appear in the 2014 edition of The Griffin, slated for publication in the fall. The editors of Kudzu Review have nominated my short story, “Senseless Man,” for inclusion in the Best of the Net Anthology 2013, featuring writing judged most outstanding among all fiction, nonfiction, and poetry published in 2013 by the literary websites. The anthology is the Web’s counterpart to the eminent Pushcart Prize and Best American series in print. In addition to appearing in the online Summer 2013 Issue 3.1 of Kudzu Review, “Senseless Man” was also published in the companion print edition.
